Alan Schaller

Alan Schaller is a London based photographer who specialises in black and white photography. His work is often abstract and incorporates surrealism, geometry, high contrast and the realities and diversities of human life. Alan shoots primarily with the Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246) but also with the Leica M10-P and a variety of M lenses.

Alan has been using Leicas for almost as long as he has been taking photographs. He came across Leica soon after looking into street photography and after trying a Leica M for the first time he knew it was for him. He worked with a single body and 50mm lens for quite a while before adding others to the mix.
