Customer Care / Repairs

As part of our ongoing commitment to offer you premium customer service at Leica UK, our Customer Care technicians can still assist you with your Leica repair and servicing needs. To provide the best health and safety measures for you and our staff, all customer care appointments need to be booked in advance. Bookings are available in our Mayfair store Monday to Friday from 11:30 - 17:30Book here.

Servicing and repairs

Please download the customer care form to arrange the servicing or repair of your Leica product (here for Cameras and here for Sport Optics). Complete the form fully, including a description of the work required, then send the digital file to our customer care team at customercare.uk@leica-camera.com who will then advise on the next steps. All accessories must be removed (this includes protectors, straps, batteries, lenses, filters, boxes) as these cannot be accepted by our repair team. Failure to do so may cause delays in the repair process.

Our average local repair time is 2 weeks. The average repair time for products going to Germany is currently 12 weeks and for Portugal is 8 weeks.

Repairs in the EU

If your repair needs to be carried out in our European repair centres, we are now required to send a commercial invoice. Our customer care team will assist you with the necessary paperwork, please contact them at customercare.uk@leica-camera.com to arrange EU deliveries. 

Sensor Cleans

We offer two complimentary sensor cleans per calendar year for your Leica system camera with interchangeable lenses (this includes the M, S, SL and CL Systems.) We are proud to offer you a priority same-day service; strictly when booked in advance.

Sensor cleans for Leica cameras with fixed lenses (this includes your Q, C-Lux, D-Lux and X systems) are generally not necessary as dirt does not enter your camera. However, if needed, sensor cleans on our fixed-lens system are also available and complimentary whilst the camera is within the warranty period.

Sensor cleans for Leica cameras outside of these criteria are available at an extra charge. Our Customer Care team will be happy to provide you with a quote on request.

Please note: We are unable to offer a same-day sensor clean service or repairs on cameras brought in without advance bookings. However, you will be able to leave your items with us and we will do our best to have your camera ready as soon as possible.

Spare Parts

Our Customer Care team also keeps a wide selection of spare parts for your Leica equipment. These include caps for binoculars, parts from older camera models and other items not in our retail range. Please submit your enquiry here
